Sardines on toast with Looye JOYN tomatoes and sweet onion

This tasty toast topped with sardines and Looye JOYN tomatoes is very easy to make for a Spanish tapas evening. Olé!

PREPARATION
Peel the garlic and cut the clove in half.
Toast the slices of bread under the grill (on both sides) or, the easy way, in the toaster.
While the toast is still warm, immediately rub with the cut side of half a clove of garlic, then coat generously with butter.
Thinly slice the Looye JOYN tomatoes.
Peel the onion and slice thinly.
HOW TO PREPARE
Cover the buttered toast with Looye JOYN tomato slices and lightly salt them.
Next, cover the Looye JOYN tomatoes with the sardines and onion slices.
Sprinkle with olive oil and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with some basil leaves and serve immediately.
